Many of mt friends and colleagues have been asking about the my process with "live caricatures" on the iPad. It was suggested that I make a few tutorials detailing some of the basics behind drawing iPad caricatures. Well, here they are! I've been cranking out a ton of caricatures for friends over the past two weeks and I wanted to show off a few of them. These were all completed in an app called ArtStudio. I would highly recommend this app above all other drawing apps due to the easy to use interface. Enjoy!

Think Iconic

Creating an icon for an event, especially one featuring a movie as celebrated as The Big Lebowski can be a daunting task. I decided to create a bowling pin pattern with a hand-drawn, but graphic image of The Dude overlapping the pins. I might play around with different color combinations, but I like what I have so far.

DudeFest Poster

This is the poster that I designed for a local Big Lebowski event called, "DudeFest". I'm a huge fan of the film and I wanted to capture as many elements from the movie as I could. One day, I'll design a SUPER POSTER with all of the characters in it!
